Cindi Sims, Saline County Collector of Revenue, took office March 1, 2015.  As Collector, Cindi is responsible for collecting, accounting and disbursing upwards of 19 million dollars annually in Current and Delinquent Property Taxes for the various political subdivisions within the county having voter authorized property tax levies. The Collector’s office provides for payment from escrow accounts held by mortgage holders on behalf of real estate owners.  New to the Collector’s office in 2015 is the ability for tax payers to make payments on both delinquent and current taxes.  In addition, the Collector receives funds from one Neighborhood Improvement Districts (NID), each city located in the county, as well as nine Drainage/Levee Districts.  By law, the collector must use any legal means to collect delinquent taxes such as the annual tax certificate sale held the 4th Monday in August each year.

The 2025 Tax Sale will be held on August 25, 2025.

Tax bills are mailed Mid November and are due upon receipt of statement, and no later than December 31st each year.  The Postmark determines the payment date for all payments mailed to the office. If you have not received a tax statement by the first of December, please contact our office.  As pursuant to the MO State Statutes failure to receive a tax bill does not relieve the obligation to pay taxes and applicable late fees.
