Solid Waste Management District
Saline County is in the Region F West Central Solid Waste Management District. The Countywide Cleanup is made possible by a Region F grant. The Saline County Commission submits the grant application to Region F every year.
Community Cleanup
2025 Countywide Cleanup
The 2025 Countywide Cleanup will be held on Saturday June 7th at the Saline County Fairgrounds.
2024 Countywide Cleanup
The 2024 Community Cleanup was held on Saturday April 13th at the Saline County Fairgrounds. 179 vehicles participated in helping to keep recyclable materials out of landfills.
Collected were:
360 tires
1 container (40 yards) of scrap metal
5 gaylords of electronics
4 gaylords of textiles
7 containers (270 yards) of waste material
20 yards of community swap materials
